Report: Man bites girlfriend's face

COVINGTON - A Covington man has been charged with battery after he reportedly bit his girlfriend on the face during the early morning hours Sunday.

The victim told police that the suspect, Burton Alex Mosely, 36, of 10101 Hidden Branch Way, came over to her residence on Wellington Ridge Drive shortly after 2:30 a.m., bit her on the face, took her tip money and fled into the woods, according to a Covington Police Department incident report completed by Officer Audrey Folden.

Mosely returned to the home while Folden was speaking with the victim and admitted that he did indeed bite her and take the money, the incident report said. He was subsequently taken into custody and charged with one count of battery under the Family Violence Act.

Folden returned the money to the victim and took photographs of the bite mark on her face, according to the CPD report.
