13-year-old attacked, robbed by 4 suspects

COVINGTON - A Newton County teen was allegedly mugged by four suspects earlier this week, according to the Newton County Sheriff's Office.

The 13-year-old victim told authorities he was walking in a field behind the Meadowbrook Mobile Home Park off of Ga. Highway 142 when he was suddenly attacked by the suspects and robbed, according to an incident report completed by Deputy Wesley Atha.
