The Col. John McIntosh Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution recognized Candace Lee Brown from Rockdale County High School, Kyle W. Ramsey from Heritage High School and Haiyen Pham from Salem High School with the DAR Good Citizen Award. The students were rewarded for possessing the qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism. They were selected by their peers after each school's faculty made nominations. In addition to the recognition from the DAR, Brown, Ramsey and Pham will receive college scholarship money from the Dorothy H. Davis Memorial Scholarship.
