Mr. and Mrs. John Wesley Darden Jr. of Waycross announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Conoly Darden of Atlanta, to James Edwin Flynt of Roswell.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Barbara Pope Monroe, the late John Henry King III and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Wesley Darden, all from Waycross. Miss Darden is a graduate of Ware County High School and Florida State University in Tallahassee, Fla., earning a bachelor of arts degree in international affairs. She is employed with Softchoice Corporation in information technology sales. The future groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Purks Flynt, of Conyers. He is the grandson of Mrs. Clyde Edward Howell of Sparta, the late Mr. Howell, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Welcome Flynt of Crawfordville. He is a graduate of Rockdale County High School in Conyers, and the University of Georgia in Athens, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration in risk management-insurance. He is self-employed as a State Farm Insurance Agent in Roswell. The couple will wed on March 29, 2008, in Waycross.More like this story
