Virginia Lynn (Ginny) Compton and George Woodrow (Trey) Wilson III were married on May 5, 2007, at Salem United Methodist Church. The Rev. Randy Kanipe officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Larry and Judy Compton of Conyers. She is a Rockdale County High School graduate in the Class of 1998 and is employed as a nurse at Rockdale Medical Center.
The groom is the son of Woody Wilson and Melinda Wilson, both of Conyers. He is a Rockdale County High School graduate in the Class of 1999 and is employed with Wilson's Tractor and Equipment.
Ann Conrad of Covington, a co-worker and friend of the bride, served as the bride as matron of honor. Other bridesmaids were Alison Compton of Conyers, sister of bride, and Krystal Wilson of Conyers, sister of groom.
Woody Wilson, father of the groom, served the groom as best man. Other groomsmen were Steve Wilson of Conyers, brother of groom, and Marshall Compton of Conyers, brother of bride.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple now reside in Oxford.
