SHS presents play
The Salem High School fine arts department will present "Urinetown" this week. Shows start at 7:30 p.m. tonight, Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $6 for students, $8 for adults in advanced and $10 for adults at the door. At 6 p.m. Saturday, Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q in Conyers will cater for guests who pay $20, which includes dinner and a ticket to the show. T.J. Maxx opens doors for families From 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, T.J. Maxx, located on Georgia Highway 138 in Conyers, will hold a special event for families of children with disabilities. Parents also will receive a discount. RCHS takes first place in competition The musical theater department at Rockdale County High School produced and performed a one-act version of the musical "Ragtime." It won first place in the One Act Competition, beating eight other schools and heading to state competition. The play consists of an ensemble cast of more than 35 students.More like this story
