Summer Leigh Bradley and Jason Daniel Little were married in an early evening wedding on Nov. 17, 2007, at Christ Church, Frederica on St. Simons Island.
The Rev.-Doctor Ladson Frazier Mills III officiated at the double ring ceremony. Jeff Lewis provided the nuptial music.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Minor Sadler Harris and Mr. James Alfred Bradley of St. Simons Island. The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Wayne Little of Conyers.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore her mother's wedding gown. The silk organza gown was trimmed with reimbroidered Alencon lace and pearls on the wedding ring collar, bodice and long sleeves. Her full-length illusion veil was bordered with scalloped Alencon lace and was attached above the bride's chignon. The bride carried a hand tied bouquet of antique green hydrangeas, escimo white roses and white vivian spray roses wrapped in ivory satin ribbon. Her necklace was a gift from the groom.
Carol Waller of Nashville, Tenn., served the bride as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Margaret Counter of Franklin, Tenn., and Alison Mahfet of Savannah, Ga. Bridesmaids wore strapless chocolate silk taffeta dresses and carried a hand tied bouquet of antique green hydrangeas and excellent flair hypericum berries wrapped in ivory satin ribbon.
Kinslee Jackson Bradley, the bride's niece, was the flower girl. She wore a tea length, sleeveless white organdy dress, accented by an organdy sash and white pearl buttons. She wore a halo of excellent flair hypericum berries and carried a hand tied bouquet of white vivian spray roses and excellent flair hypericum berries, wrapped in ivory satin ribbon.
The groom's father was his best man. Other groomsmen were Brian Walker Jones of Alpharetta; the bride's brothers, James Christopher Bradley of Acworth and Jackson Scott Bradley of St. Simons Island. Blake Christopher Bradley and Payton Heath Bradley, nephews of the bride, were ring bearers. The ring pillow was needlepointed by the bride's mother as a gift to her daughter.
The wedding reception was held at the Black Banks home of the bride's parents. A rehearsal dinner. hosted by the groom's parents, was held at Crabdaddys Seafood Grill on St. Simons Island.
Prenuptial parties held locally include a couple's kitchen shower, at the home of Tina and Bill Kirby, hosted by Peggy and Jim Chamberlin, Debbie and Bill Strother, and Tina and Bill Kirby; a linen shower at the home of Dottie Clark, hosted by Woodie Baumgardner, Karen Fender, Star Wheeler and Dottie Clark; a cocktail party held at the home of Caroline and Dwight Plyler, hosted by Virginia and Willard Snyder, Anne and Tom Whelchel, Rhonda and Bill Hicks, Louise and Bob Bledsoe, and Caroline and Dwight Plyler. The bridesmaids' luncheon was at the home of Mary Gash, and hosted by Diane Laws, Cathy Murphy, Maggie Murphy and Mary Gash. A kitchen shower and luncheon was held at The Swan Coach House in Atlanta. Hostesses were Maggie Counter, Alison Mahfet and Carol Waller.
Following a honeymoon to the Dominican Republic, the couple resides on St. Simons Island.
